Amnesty International Nigeria:No Impunity For Sponsors Of Electoral Violence And Vote-Buying

Electoral violence and vote-buying violate human rights and undermine democracy. Amnesty International Nigeria is determined to identify, document and expose perpetrators and sponsors, regardless of their political influence, and present credible evidence to national and international authorities for accountability and consideration of targeted sanctions, including visa bans and asset freezes.
We urge Nigerians, journalists, civil society and election observers to safely report violations and preserve evidence. We demand independent investigations, protection for victims and witnesses, and prosecution of those responsible.
Nigerian lives are not expendable, votes are not for sale, and political power must never shield perpetrators. NO IMPUNITY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
