Yobe to have Hisba Commission soon, says Speaker State Assembly

The Hisbah Commission when put into effect will sanitise the state from many if not all social vices and immoral behaviors.
Chiroma Buba Mashio, the Speaker State Assembly disclosed this while declaring open the public hearing on two bills in Damaturu, recently.
According to the Speaker, ” the bill had undergone first and second readings, also committed to appropriate committee of the house for due process .
Buba said, “ in order for the law to look more effective stakeholders in the religious area were summon for memoranda and inputs just to have a befitting law that is people-oriented in nature.
Speaking earlier, Hon. Yukubu Suleiman, Chairman Yobe State House Of Assembly Committee on Justice, Judiciary and Religious Affairs stated that establishment of the Hisba Commission is apt and timely.
He Added that, like what was obtainable else where soonest Yobe people will witnessed a total re – oriention towards how they conduct their affairs with utmost decency .
During the the public hearings two different bills were presented, the first one for the establishment of a HISBA Commission and related matters while second one has to do with putting in place the Information Technology Development Agency.
