Buni swears-In 9 Permanent Secretaries

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State on Tuesday expressed the determination of his administration to equip and reposition the Public Service.
The Governor disclosed this during the inauguration of the nine newly-appointed Permanent Secretaries at Banquet Hall in Government House Damaturu.
He urged the appointees to be guided by the code of ethics and to conduct themselves in conformity with the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office administered unto them
“let me once again reiterate our commitment to due process and transparency in conducting government business. All communications and movement of files must follow the normal procedure and channel for proper documentation” he said.
According to him, ” On no account should government files be released to unauthorized persons. The state secretary to the state government is hereby directed to take note and act accordingly.
Governor Buni appealed to them to be proactive in proffering fresh ideas and to build strong synergy with colleagues in the ministries and departments for efficient and effective service delivery.
Buni also congratulated the appointees wishing them God’s support and guidance as they took on their new responsibilities
He added that, ” I enjoin you to display a high level of loyalty, sacrifice, and diligence and to be machinery of good governance and service of Yobe state” Said Buni.
The newly-appointed permanent secretaries are: Alhaji Modu, Umar Aji Suleiman, Abdulmumin Mammam, Alhaji Rabu Garba Tsoho Nguru, Sani Mohammed Sama’ila Nguru, Hajiya Zainab Mohammed Ago, Yusuf Hassan Yusuf, Bukar Aji Bukar, Baba Kachala Gaidam.
