The Adamawa State Government has inaugurated a total of 118 members of various committees and sub-committees to organise a grand reception for Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri into the All Progressives Congress scheduled for 23rd March.
Inaugurating the committees on Monday in Yola, the Secretary to the State Government, Auwal D. Tukur, charged members to work diligently and ensure a successful and memorable event.
Barrister Tukur emphasized the importance of commitment and coordination among the various committees and sub-committees, urging them to deliver effectively on their assigned responsibilities ahead of the reception.
The committees and sub-committees were; Mobilization committee with the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs and Chieftaincy, Hon.Yayaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa as chairman and Hon. Mustapha Atiku Ribadu.
The Medical sub-committee has Executive Chairman Adamawa state primary health care development Agency (ADSPHCDA), Dr. Suleiman Sai’du Bashir as chairman and Dr. Abraham Musa as Secretary.
Other sub-committees inaugurated are the feeding sub-committees, security committee, media and publicity, logistics committee, protocol and transport sub-committees respectively.
The grand reception is expected to attract political leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from within and outside Adamawa State.
