Aji Kolomi Emerges Winner of PDP Senatorial Ticket for Yobe East

Alhaji Aji Kolomi Ajiko has been declared the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries for the upcoming bye-election in the Yobe East Constituency of the National Assembly.

Senator Adamu Gumba, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, announced in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state, that Hon Aji Kolomi secured victory with 191 votes.

His closest rival, Alhaji Mustapha Sheriff Mashidimami, trailed behind with 31 votes, while Alhaji Mohammed Alkali scored 4 votes, as revealed by Gumba.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Aji Kolomi praised the electoral committee for conducting a free and fair exercise. He appealed to his fellow contestants to unite in supporting him, emphasizing the importance of their collective effort in securing victory for the party in the upcoming polls.

Expressing gratitude for the confidence placed in him, Dr. Kolo urged the PDP supporters in Yobe East senatorial district to turn out massively to vote for him in the Senate.
