AMG Foundation donates wheelchairs to support students with disabilities at Sa’adatu Rimi University

Students with physical challenges at Sa’adatu Rimi University in Kano receive wheelchair donations from the Vulnerable People Support and Development Initiative with support from the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation.
The Director of Operations at AMG Foundation, Malam Suleiman Jalo, stated that the intervention was part of the continuous philanthropic activities at the university.
According to him, the donation will support students with special needs at the university to have access to education without any barriers.
Additionally, he said, “we have reconstructed previously donated wheelchairs at the university to ensure effective service for students.”
The Registrar of Sa’adatu Rimi University, Malam Saminu Zubairu, added that the support will be a life-changing opportunity for students who have been struggling to achieve excellent grades in their academic performance.
Others in attendance included Sa’adatu Rimi University Librarian, Haj. Mabaruka Abba, AMG Assistant Program Manager, Amina Marafa, AMG Logistics Officer, Muhammad Salisu, among others.
