Anambra North Stakeholders Forum Endorses Soludo For A Second Term In Office As He Bags Chieftaincy Title, ‘Oluatuegwu’

The Anambra North Stakeholders Forum across political parties divides has endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in office given his development strides in governance at the Otuocha Township Stadium in the Anambra East Local Government Area.
Going forward,the traditional rulers from the Anambra North Senatorial Zone unanimously conferred the governor with a Chieftaincy Title, ‘Oluatuegwu’ performed by the Deputy Chairman state Traditional Rulers Council and Chairman, Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Benjamin Okeji.
Igwe Okeji the Traditional Ruler of Omasi while performing the function,paid glowing tribute to the governor for his purposeful leadership which touches all sectors of the economy .
The royal father expressed delight that the governor has lived up to expectations in governance,and expects that all hands should be on deck to appreciate his noble gestures.
In a message to the occasion,the traditional ruler of Ndiokpalaeze, Igwe Frederick Okoli paid a solidarity visit to the governor and acknowledged his vision which has moved the state to the next level.
According to Igwe Okoli,the governor has touched all sectors of the economy and needs to be encouraged for a second term in office.
Also in solidarity, the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe which falls under the Anambra North Senatorial Zone, Dr.Justina Anyadiegwu stormed the venue with her powerful delegation of staff and students to encourage the governor to continue for an uninterrupted eight years in office.
Dr.Anyadiegwu whose administration as Provost has made some remarkable reforms and improvements,identified with the governor as he was decorated with the Chieftaincy Title, ‘Oluatuegwu’.
Speaking at the rally,the President General of Umumbo, Mr. Paul Ejimofor (Esq) added his voice to the endorsement of the governor for a second term in office given his reasons to include the elevation of the Anambra West LGA to a new urban status,the provision of good roads in some communities in the area,the transformation of the Awka capital city and other reforms especially in the educational and health sectors which have enhanced his performance index in governance.
Contributing, the Traditional Ruler of Umunnankwo, Igwe Fidelis Onumonu commended Governor Soludo for his people oriented governance and used the forum to urge parents to aim at giving qualitative education to their children,towing the path of Governor Soludo who has formulated policies to enhance the education sector in the state.
On their part, the leader of the Okosisi political movement, Chief Godwin Onyeka appreciated Governor Soludo for his good works and also endorsed him for a second term in office while the President General of Osamala community in Ogbaru LGA, Mr.Obidi Omebu also endorsed Governor Soludo for a second term in office while using the forum to ask that the Anambra State Government should come to the rescue of the community ravaged by flood disaster especially during the rainy season.
In their separate remarks,the Traditional Ruler of Umuoba Anam, Igwe George Ekwealor endorsed the governor for a second term in office,the President General of Ogwuaniocha, Chief Vitalis Ekweanya called on Governor Soludo to rehabilitate the Ogwuaniocha -Umunankwo- Ihiala Road,his Odekpe counterpart, Chief Victor Adimali called for the beefing up of security in the Odekpe community and fixing some bad roads in the community,the President General of Okpoko Community Development Union, Mr Charles Ezeokafor expressed happiness over Soludo’s deft development strategy,while a high Chief of Ezi Agulu Otu Aguleri origin, Isaac Okafor also endorsed Governor Soludo for a second term in office.
Responding, Governor Soludo thanked the traditional rulers in the Anambra North Senatorial Zone for the traditional title given to him and his endorsement for a second term in office which will spur him to greater action.
Governor Soludo maintained that rotational governorship arrangement and understanding among the three Senatorial Zones of the state has come to stay.
According to him,the arrangement has become sacrosanct, describing political candidates in the state vying for governor from the Anambra south Senatorial Zone as jokers who are seeking for their personal financial gains
He assured Anambra people that the development of Anambra State in his second term in office will be accelerated and more eventful.
The governor used the forum to announce that his administration has awarded some contracts to make the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe one of the best institutions of higher learning in Nigeria.
