Another Airforce Girls Secondary school Takes off in Kano

The Federal Government has established Nigerian Girls Secondary School In Kano South, Rano Local Government, as part of effort to support girls child education in the state.
The Chairman of the House committee on Air Force, Federal House of Representatives, Alhassan Rurum disclosed this to Journalists in Kano.
He said the project focused on establishing a boarding school to support girl’s child education not only in his Rano, Bunkure/Kibiya Constituency, but the entire country at large.
According to him, the primary objective behind his initiative to bring the project to his constituency would create a lasting impact for future generations across the three key constituencies.
In his effort to alleviate the suffering of his people, Rurum however, explained that he distributed food items to his constituents including five trailers of rice, 1,000 cartons of pasta, and 500 bags of millet to over 40,000 people,
“During the Christmas celebration, Christians in my constituency received bags of rice and financial assistance for shopping, embodying the proverb, “A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives roses.” he stated.
