APC National Chairman Ganduje Congratulates Muslims on New Islamic Year
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, extends his congratulations to Muslims across the nation and worldwide as they mark the commencement of the New Islamic Year.
This auspicious occasion, which signifies the beginning of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar, is a time for reflection, renewal, and a renewed commitment to the values of faith, peace, and unity.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Dr Ganduje urged Muslims to use this period to pray for the continued peace, prosperity, and development of Nigeria and to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in its effort to tackle the numerous challenges of the country.
He emphasized the importance of unity and harmony among all Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds, as essential for the progress and stability of the country.
“Let us embrace the teachings of Islam, which advocate for peace, tolerance, and compassion,” Dr. Ganduje stated. “As we step into the New Year, may we all be guided by the principles of love and understanding, and work collectively towards the betterment of our great nation.”
