Arewa Peace Ambassadors Organises 3rd Edition Summit On Negative Impact Of Drug Abuse

A non-governmental organization, Arewa Peace Ambassadors Forum has on Saturday, 26th August organized a sensitization summit on Drugs abuse.

The event which is the 3rd edition of its kind themed “Youth, Governance and Drug Abuse” and held in Elkanami Hall, Ramat Polytechnic, Borno state.

Speaking during the summit, Founder of the Forum, Nura Ali Abubakar called on the youth to shun any activities of drug abuse and urged government and wealthy people to help in rehabilitation and empowering the repented ones.

One of the presenters, Dr. Abubakar Tijjani explained the negative impact of drug abuse to the life of Youth.

The forum also use the medium to inaugurate Borno state chapter of its members.

Some of the guest graced the event include, Engr. Kabir Muhammad Wanori and CN Iliyasu Mamman Mani, NDLEA, Commandant, Borno State.
