Assoc. of headmasters, principals endorses Gov. Buni’s education reforms agenda

During a recent interactive session, the Association of Headmasters and Principals of Government Junior Day Secondary Schools in Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State has endorsed the education reforms agenda of Governor Buni.
The Acting Education Secretary for Nguru Local Government Education Authority, Mallam Hamisu Ado Nguru, informed the gathering that the government has approved the promotion of all teachers in order to improve their working conditions and welfare.
He said that the current administration is ever ready to improve the state of education by putting all the mechanisms needed to address observed lapses in the sector.
He urged all school administrators to remain focused and contribute positively towards revitalizing the sector.
Responding, both the Chairman of the Headmasters group, Abubakar Badamasi, and the Chairman of the Principals group, Mallam Waziri Abba, prayed for the success of Governor Buni’s administration and determination to take Yobe State to the “promising land.”
They also promised the Acting Education Secretary that their teachers are deeply committed to improving the learning outcomes of their students.
