Bichi First FC Unveils Abubakar Musa as Technical Adviser

Bichi First FC has officially unveiled Coach Abubakar Musa as the Technical Adviser of the club. The ceremony, which took place at the club’s premises, was attended by the Club President and Member representing Bichi Local Government in Kano State, Hon. Dr. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Bichi (popularly known as Abba Bichi).

Coach Musa, a former Flying Eagles and Super Eagles player, enjoyed a successful playing career with clubs such as Jigawa Golden Stars, Eagle Cement, Dolphins FC, Enyimba, and later in Saudi Arabia. Beyond his playing days, he has built an impressive coaching résumé, having served as Assistant Coach under Abdu Maikaba at Plateau United and Kano Pillars FC, where he also worked alongside Usman Abdullah and most recently with Evans Ogenyi.

During the unveiling, Coach Musa expressed gratitude to the Club President and management for entrusting him with the role, promising to deliver the kind of football that would make the club and its fans proud. He also extended appreciation to Kano Pillars FC’s management, technical crew, players, and supporters for their past collaboration.

In his remarks, the Club President, Dr. Bichi, described Musa’s appointment as a significant step for the team, citing his vast experience as both a player and a coach. He emphasized that the creation of Bichi First FC was driven by the desire to empower young people in his constituency and across Kano State through sports. According to him, the club aims to nurture raw talents while discouraging youths from engaging in illicit activities.

Dr. Bichi further revealed that plans are underway for the construction of an ultra-modern 18,000-capacity stadium in Bichi, which he described as a project that would bring pride to Kano State and Northern Nigeria. He assured the new technical team of his unwavering support as the club begins preparations for the Nigerian National League.

Bichi First FC expressed optimism about a fruitful partnership with Coach Musa as the team embarks on a new chapter under his guidance.
