Breaking: Guinea-Bissau President visits Tinubu in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu is presently hosting a meeting at his residence in Lagos with Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government.

The Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) confirmed the meeting between the two leaders in a video posted on Twitter.

The reason for their meeting was not stated.

Tinubu has been spending the Sallah holiday in Lagos since his return from London on Tuesday.

Embalo’s visit to Tinubu is the first by an African President since the Nigerian leader’s inauguration on May 29.
