Breaking News: Troops Neutralize Notorious Bandits in Plateau State

In a daring operation, troops of Three Division and Operation SAFE HAVEN have neutralized notorious bandits in Plateau State.
In a statement signed by the Media Information Officer Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major Samson Zhakom said the operation was conducted in the early hours of today, 31st May, 2025 in Pinau Village, Wase Local Government Area.
He explained that Troops acted on credible intelligence and launched an offensive operation against the criminal elements terrorizing the area.
Zhakom said in the process Three bandits were neutralized, while others fled with gunshot wounds.
According to him, One AK – 47 rifle and one AK- 47
magazine were recovered and are in their custody for further action.
The statement maintained that while Troops are conducting follow-up operations to intercept the fleeing criminals, 3 Division and Operation SAFE HAVEN will build on the success to strengthen their operational capability and deal decisively with criminals.
