BREAKING: Protest in Kano over judgment that sacked Governor Abba Yusuf

Hundreds of youth on Wednesday evening took to the streets of Kano, protesting over the appeal court judgment that sacked Governor Abba Kabir.

The Protesting youth, comprising workmen, set tyres on fire while chanting a solidarity song to Governor Yusuf.

Policemen barricade the state road leading to Government House, while motorists have been diverted to One Lane Drive.

The protesting youth were dispersed by the combined team of policemen who fired several teargas at them.

The protesters were seen in the Kofar Nassarawa and BUK road.
