From Mika’il Tsoho,Dutse

Despite the announcement of 24 hours curfew by the governor himself, the Nationwide Anti- hardship protest continue in some part of Jigawa state, including Dutse the state capital.

Currently combined team of security agencies are battling with protestants around Zai area of the city to blocked them from going to the commercial area and other and other major public buildings and stores.

According to one of the residents of Zai quarters thousands of youth who were chanting different slogan including inviting military to takeover the nation have resisted the teargas thrown to desperse them by the security.

However at Shuwaring area in an outskirts of Dutse, thousands of youth have regrouped and continu with demonstration for the second day.

The protestants who are attempting to get into the state capital centre are blocked by heavy security who barricaded the road and heavily teargas the area.

An eye witness in Shuwarin area has confirmed that, 10th of youth including under age boys were arrest y the police .

In Gumel town the situation was relatively clamp as security blocked all major roads and to prevent the protestants from regrouping, however according to our source in the town , the situation is very volatile as the number of the security are not enough to contain the youth for a long period.

Attempt to reach our source in other places like Hadeji, Birnin Kudu-, Jahun and Kazaure prove abortive as the Communication network are terribly bad around those areas.
