BREAKING: Two Kano Assembly Members Die Within Minutes
Tragedy struck the Kano State House of Assembly on Tuesday as two serving lawmakers were reported dead within minutes of each other.
The lawmaker representing Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Sarki Aliyu Daneji, died barely minutes after news broke of the death of his colleague, Hon. Aminu Sa’adu, who represented Ungoggo Local Government Area.
The deaths sent shockwaves across the state’s political circle, given the close timing of the incidents and the prominence of the two legislators in the Kano State House of Assembly.
Confirmation of the death of Sarki Aliyu Daneji was made public by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, spokesperson of Kano Governor, who announced it via a post on his official Facebook page.
