BUK Students Applaud Kano Governor for Settling Registration Fees

Some Kano state indigenes studying at Bayero University Kano (BUK) have applauded the state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for settling the central registration fees of 7,000 students.
In an interview with PRIME TIME NEWS on Saturday, the students described Governor Yusuf as “Students Governor” and prayed for his government.
Recalled that the Kano state government had approved over N700 million to settle the registration fees of Kano state students of BUK.
Hassan Ibrahim, a Level 2 student, expressed his appreciation and thanked the Governor for saving his academic journey.
“Alhamdulillah! I just checked my profile and found that Governor Abba Kabir Paid my registration. I can’t express what I’m feeling now. I’m praying for the governor to complete his 8 years, 4+4 Abba,” he said.
Another student, Musa Ibrahim, said they would organize a special prayer for the governor to win at the court of appeal so that he will continue to work for Kano people.
“This is commendable. We are organizing a special prayer for Governor to succeed, in sha Allah the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf would last for 8 years,” he said.
PRIME TIME NEWS observed that many students of the varsity took to their social media pages to appreciate the governor.
