Chairman impeachment saga rocks Zamfara APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Zamfara chapter has fiercely been encased with secret movements towards possible impeachment of the State party Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani following various allegations against him been allegedly established by the members of the state party Executives (EXCO).

Impeccable sources revealed that, the crisis has emanated following allegations that, the APC Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani, has collected the allocation of twenty slots of Board Members from the National headquarters of APC meant to be shared among it’s members, but could only declared three slots been procured for Zamfara State.

Danfulani, was reported to have been allegedly faced with secret movements for his impeachment over his alleged refusal to summon a meeting to explain to the party EXCO on the development of slots allocations for twenty Board Members to Zamfara state.

He was also allegedly accused of several issues such as refusing to listing to his party members in regards to the party progress in the state, which according to them has led to the failure of the party in the last general elections.

Some of the party members who spoke to our Correspondent, said the alleged injustice of the party Chairman couple with his inexperience in leading the party to the success, has conceived the decision in the minds of the majority party members especially state EXCO to ensure the impeachment of the Chairman from his seat.

A Source within the state Executive members who preferred anonymity, stated that on so many occasions, the state Chairman committed negatively on members of the state party where he denied them the rights to pay their needed contributions towards the development of the party in the state.

According to the source, Tukur Danfulani was allegedly further been accused of collecting benefits meant for the party members from the former state Governor Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, but in turn denied them the enjoyment of the gestures.

“This is a complete greediness habit in his leadership style, nobody can raise hand for a challenge and he doesn’t care to correct such anomalies as he single handedly shared the said twenty slots even without calling for a meeting with the party EXCO”.

Meanwhile, until the time of compiling this report, all efforts to get across the State Party Chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani for his comment proved abortive as his numbers were either reponding not reachable and no response to the sms sent to him yet.
