CITAD Commends Kano State Government for Sponsoring Talented Youths

The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) applauds the Kano State Government’s recent initiative to sponsor talented youth with innovative ideas for further education abroad.

CITAD through its Executive Director, Engr. YZ Ya’u commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his commitment to youth development and educational advancement.

Ya’u highlighted the scholarships awarded to four of CITAD’s mentees, Hussain Muhammad Nawat, Hassan Muhammad Nawat, Nafi’u Ibrahim Mustapha, and Mu’azzam Sani, as a pivotal step towards building a skilled workforce equipped for the 21st century.

“Investing in young talents and innovative ideas is an investment for the future. This gesture empowers these young minds to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society” YZ emphasized.

According to the Executive Director, CITAD operates the Children Creativity Centre (3Cs), aimed at providing young innovators with tools, materials, and mentorship to turn their ideas into businesses.

PRIME TIME NEWS gathered that, the scholarships were awarded to individuals who developed projects like Water DC Cooking Gas, Architectural Modelling Airport, and Security Drone.

The Centre equally believes these individuals will become leaders who inspire positive change and contribute to the state’s and Nigeria’s overall prosperity.
