Dantiye Congratulates New NAWOJ Exco
Kano State Commissioner of Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, has congratulated the newly elected national executive council members of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).

The Commissioner acknowledged the recent election that brought Aisha Bura from Borno as the President and Wasila Ladan from Kano as the National Secretary, emphasizing their election based on their merit as seasoned journalists and dedicated advocates for women’s rights.
Dantiye highlighted the significant contributions of the elected executive council members to community development, particularly in organizing awareness campaigns, advocacy, and other interventions.
He expressed the state government’s commitments in providing training and retraining opportunities for women journalists in the state through workshops and seminars to enhance their skills and knowledge for improved efficiency.
Dantiye wished the new leaders of the association a successful tenure and encourages them to initiate more programmes that will benefit women and children.
