Daurawa resumes duties as Hisbah boss after reconciliation talks
Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa has been reinstated as the Commander of the Kano State Hisbah Board following a reconciliatory meeting with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Government House, Kano.
This reconciliation effort was led by a “Coalition of Ulama and Islamic organisations in Kano State.”
Dr. Sa’id Ahmad Dukawa, the coalition’s secretary, confirmed Daurawa’s reinstatement in a press release on Monday night.
Daurawa had announced his resignation from office as the Head of the State’s Islamic Law Enforcement Corps, known as Hisbah Board, via a video message on Facebook on Friday morning.
