Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba Honored as Lifetime Member by Nigeria Cancer Society

Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, the Coordinator of Africa Health Budget Network, has received the prestigious recognition of a lifetime member from the Nigeria Cancer Society (NCS).

The decoration ceremony took place with Dr. Adamu Alhassan, President of the Nigeria Cancer Society, expressing gratitude for Magashi’s remarkable efforts in addressing cancer diseases in Nigeria.

Dr. Alhassan highlighted Dr. Magashi’s selfless dedication to advocating for cancer awareness on both national and state levels. The Nigeria Cancer Society acknowledged Magashi’s significant contributions to the fight against cancer and deemed him worthy of a lifetime membership.

During the decoration ceremony, Dr. Chris Chukwunyere Njoku, the Abuja Manager of City Cancer Challenges, provided support to Dr. Alhassan, affirming the importance of recognizing individuals who have made substantial impacts in the field of cancer advocacy.
