Dujiman Katsina Felicitate With Governor Radda on 55th Birthday
The Chairman, House Committee on Interior, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmad, has heartily congratulated the Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda on his 55th birthday, describing him as a leader who has shown an undeniable commitment to the peace, unity and development of the state.
The lawmaker who represents Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency, said Radda’s unprecedented political strides from a humble background, underscores his patriotism and determination to serve the state diligently with honesty and sincerity of purpose in line with the democratic tenets of transparency and accountability.
Ahmad poured the accolades on Governor Radda in Wednesday’s statement released to journalists in Katsina by his Special Assistant on Media, Sardauna Francis, praying that Allah should grant the governor good health, more wisdom and strength to continue serving the state and humanity.
He added that Governor Radda has been an excellent role model to many young and not-so-young aspiring politicians within and outside the country because of the way and manner he has successfully restored peace in 24 hitherto vulnerable local governments of the state, thereby putting the state on the pedestal of economic prosperity.
The Dujiman Katsina reiterated that the implementation of Open Government Partnership (OGP) and Citizens Participatory Budget initiative by Radda’s administration further testified to his unwavering commitment to foster transparency, community-led participatory budgeting and accountable governance in the state.
He said: “Your Excellency, you have achieved great success in the fight against corruption, banditry and other forms of insecurity in addition to numerous achievements you have recorded in health, education, agriculture, environment, water and works in less than two years.
“I wish to congratulate you for all the achievements you have so far recorded, particularly for your humility, deep sense of honesty and faith you have shown in the various aspects of governance, politics and democracy as our amiable Governor.
“As you celebrate your 55th birthday today, on behalf of my family and the good people of Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency, I pray that Allah will keep you in perfect health and grant you the wisdom and strength to continue to steer the ship of our state to more enviable and loftier heights of peace and prosperity.”
While describing Governor Radda as a cool-headed gentleman who puts the interest of Katsina above personal, primordial and other narrow considerations, the legislator explained that the celebrant is not only admirably competent, but also exudes confidence and passion in piloting the affairs of the state.
