Eid Celebration: Hon. Hafiz Kawu distributes cows, rams of over N15m to Tarauni constituency

The immediate past Member representing Tarauni Local Government, Hon. Hafizu Ibrahim Kawu has distributed cows, rams to his constituency worth N15,352,000.

In a statement signed by the Special Assistant on media to Hon. Hafiz Kawu, Mr. Bashir Suwaid and sent to PRIME TIME NEWS noted that the exercise is an annual gesture to provide succor to Muslims ummah.

The statement reads; “The immediate past member of Tarauni local government has done it again like every other year where he distributes incentives (cows, rams, money) to his constituency, worth fifteen million, three hundred and fifty two (15,352,000).

The statement revealed that “Each of the 10 wards representatives have gotten enough incentives to share to the loyal supporters, places of worships, orphans, widows, elderly people and well wishers”.

The exercise was carried out by Hon. Mubarak Hamisu alongside DG Muhammad Abbas.

The gesture came at a time when Muslim faithful are celebrating 2024  Eid-El-Kabir under hash economic condition occasioned by fuel subsidy removal among others.
