Eid-el Fitr Celebration: NSCDC Deploys Over 3,200 Personnel in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command has concluded all the necessary security arrangements for the smooth and hitch free Eid-el Fitr celebrations in the State.

This is contained in a statement Signed and issued to newsmen by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command on Monday.

According to the statement, the State Commandant, Comdt Mohammed Lawal Falala, fcna has approved the deployment of over Three thousand two hundred officers and men across the state.

The operatives drawn from Departments, Units, Area commands, Divisional Offices as well as Outposts will be drafted at different Eid grounds, recreational/event centres and strategic locations across Kano. “They are to ensure maximum security and forestall possible break down of law and order before, during and after the sallah festivities.

“Thugs and miscreants are hereby warned to desist from any act capable of disrupting public peace; operatives of the Corps are always on ground and battle ready to deal in accordance with the law anybody caught breaching peace being enjoyed in the State”, the statement added.
