Eid-el-Kabir: Gov. Buni Urges Fervent Prayers for Yobe, Nigeria

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has called on residents to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as an opportunity to offer fervent prayers for the state and country’s peace, security, and prosperity.
In a statement signed by Mamman Mohammad, Director General of Press and Media Affairs, Governor Buni emphasized the importance of intensified prayers for leaders to be guided towards achieving increased peace, security, and prosperity.
The governor stressed that the peace, security, and prosperity of the country is paramount to every citizen, and therefore, everyone should come together to pray for the nation’s well-being.
He urged the people to pray for leaders to be guided aright to ensure the continued peace, security, and prosperity of the country.
Governor Buni commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to fighting insecurity and urged the people to support and cooperate with the security operatives to ensure the success of the president’s efforts.
He also encouraged the promotion of peaceful coexistence, love, and sacrifice, emphasizing the need for these virtues to extend beyond the Sallah season to build a united and strong country.
The governor praised security agencies for their efforts in maintaining peace across the state and appreciated the resilience of the people in rebuilding their communities and recovering their means of livelihood.
He announced an upcoming agricultural revolution to boost food production and economic development, encouraging residents to take advantage of the program and support the administration’s development agenda.
