Eid-el-Maulud: Minister Gwarzo Urges Muslims To Reflect On Prophet Muhammad’s Teachings

The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, has urged Muslims in the country to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in all their daily activities,as they celebrate the Eid-el-Maulud.

Gwarzo made the charge in his Eid-El-Maulud message marking this year’s commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH).

In the message which was issued to newsmen on Monday by his SSA Media and Publicity, Malam Adamu Abdullahi,the minister described Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a complete guiding principle of all Muslims in the world.

He therefore enjoined Muslims to adhere to the teachings and practice of the Holy Prophet, saying that “it is the surest way that will bring succour to our lives and save our nation from the current economic turbulence.”

“We are celebrating the birthday of our exalted Prophet Muhammad (SAW), but it’s compulsory upon all Muslims to reflect on his virtues and teachings as well as follow his examples in all our daily activities.

“We should also imbibe the lessons of His preaching on compassion, peace and love for one another.

“Our progress depends on how we implement the teachings of our noble Prophet who teaches mankind how to live with one another in peace.

“It is the duty of all Nigerian Muslims to operate according to the teachings and dictates of Islamic principles for the betterment of our country,”he said.

Gwarzo then urged all Nigerians to recommit themselves to President Bola Tinubu’s transformation of the country.

He added that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is determined to ensure that every Nigerian gets access to affordable, safe and dignified housing.
