Emnamu Foundation Donates Cash, Food, Non-Food Items to Less Privileged in Yola

From Umar Dankano, Yola

Emnamu Foundation, a humanitarian organization, has donated food and non-food items worth millions of Naira to 500 less privileged individuals in Adamawa State. The donation was made in an effort to reduce economic hardship in the country.

Dr. Emma Nuel Nathan Musa, President of Emnamu Foundation, distributed the items in Yola over the weekend. He stated that the gesture was part of his organization’s modest contributions to addressing the current hardship in the country.

Musa emphasized that those blessed by God should extend their blessings to fellow humans.

“The creator blesses us so that we can extend the goodies to our fellow humans,” Musa said. “We are calling on well-to-do personalities to support and assist their neighbors out of their God-given riches.”

The organization has previously built 300 housing units for vulnerable people across the state.

The donation was made during the Thanksgiving Mass of Most Rev. Stephen Dami Mamza, the immediate past state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese. Musa acknowledged Bishop Mamza’s kindness and services to humanity, particularly his efforts to better the lives of the poor and less privileged.

“Bishop Mamza used his office as CAN chairman to better the lives of the poor, the less privileged, and the downtrodden, who face numerous challenges and difficulties in life, especially in trying times like this,” Musa said.

Musa urged the rich to assist the poor, citing scriptural teachings to help the needy to attract blessings from God. “The scriptures tell us to help the needy so that we can attract more blessings from our creator, both here on earth and in the hereafter,” he said.

He advised beneficiaries to use the items wisely to alleviate their sufferings. “We urge you to ensure judicious use of the items received to alleviate your sufferings,” Musa said.

Beneficiaries, Mrs. Susan Iliya and Mr. Diminis Maifuro, expressed gratitude to Dr. Musa and Emnamu Foundation, praying for his continued blessings and upliftment.

“We really thank him much and pray that may the Almighty God fulfill his heart desires too,” they said.

Items distributed at the ceremony included a bag of rice, a bag of maize, salt, vegetable oil, Maggi cubes, mattresses, wrappers, and a cash donation of fifty thousand Naira (N50,000) each respectively.
