Empowerment: Sen.Barau Gives Kano APC Supporters 1037 Motorcycles, 63 Cars

The Deputy President of the Senate,Barau Jibrin,on Sunday gave members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Kano State 1037 motorcycles and 63 cars in appreciation for their support for the party.
Presenting the vehicles at the Meena Event Center, Kano, Senator Jibrin said the gesture was aimed at empowering members of the party with a view to mobilizing them towards victory in the 2027 general elections.
He said the motorcycles would be distributed to all APC Chairmen of wards and local governments in the state.
He also announced that a special package for women,teachers and other stakeholders would soon commence to ensure that they benefit from dividends of democracy.
“We are also planning to empower university graduates who were not able to secure white collar jobs,three will be selected from each local government area and will be empowered with the sum of N5 million loan to enable them start small businesses,” the deputy president of the Senate said.
He commended the leadership style of the National Chairman of the APC,Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, which he said had made the party to achieve greater heights.
In his remarks at the occasion,Ganduje said that the Tinubu led administration is working tirelessly to improve the well being of all Nigerians.
He also commended Senator Jibrin for donating the vehicles and motorcycles to the party officials, saying the gesture would significantly enhance the socio-economic well being of the party’s faithful.
“We are proud of Senator Barau Jibrin because of the manner in which he is supporting APC members,” he said.
He also said that the donation would promote the party’s ideals in the state.
