Ex-Senate President Lawan Empowers Over 6,700 Yobe Constituents

The Former Senate President Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan of Yobe North on Monday Empowered about 6,766 Members of his Constituency in Gashua town.
The empowerment was performed at the township stadium, Gashua Bade LGA of the state.
The items distributed by Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has distributed some items which included, 4 Land Cruiser Jeeps to the four APC party Chairmen of the Senatorial District, Peaugeot 406 to Secretaries, Peaugeot 307 to Coordinators, Peaugeot 307 10 Youth leaders, Sharon Buses to Women Leaders.
Others included Tractors, Rice milliers, combined harvesters, Hand Tractors, Rice planters, fire fighting trucks, 18-seater buses, fridges, freezers, tricycle carriers, tricycles, Keke NAPEP, Motorcycles, grinding machines respectively.
The Others are sewing machines, water pumps, hand sprayers, Pots and stoves, Generators, small harvesters and so on.
In his speech for his welcome address the Chairman Caretaker Committee Bade LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Babagana said that Governor Mai Mala Buni has always said, that micro, small and medium businesses are always the engines that power lasting and sustainable economic growth. Small businesses are at the forefront of generating employment and providing a means of livelihood to countless people.
“According to him the government alone cannot facilitate small business growth or provide the funds, materials and equipment needed to take many of our jobless youths off the streets.
“It’s well known to everyone that, His Excellency the Sardaunan Bade is a messiah for the people of Yobe Zone C. For many years, the Sardaunan Bade has remained at the forefront of providing support to the people of this zone always.”
“Obviously his numerous constituency projects cut across different spheres of the people’s lives: Water supply, road construction, food production, animal husbandry, medical outreaches, and economic empowerment respectively.”
“Therefore on behalf of the people of the Bade Local Government area, therefore, I want to express our gratitude to the Sardaunan Bade for everything he is doing for the people of his Yobe North Constituency”.
“I therefore want to express our deepest gratitude to His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON Chiroman Gujba for his unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people of Bade Local Government, Yobe North and the entire people of Yobe State respectively”.
“I want to congratulate the beneficiaries of this programme and call on them to use the items that were given to them accordingly”.
In his remarks, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan began by thanking Governor Mai Mala Buni for blessing the program with his presence. He added that the Governor has been giving them all the support they needed by providing them with good leadership in the entire state.
Ahmed Lawan used the forum to thank his constituents for standing by him always “especially at this critical time”.
“He assured us to continue to remain focused on ensuring that Yobe North benefits from their leadership “While we remain servants of the people, don’t sell the items given to you, it will assist you by the will of our Almighty Allah.”
One of the Beneficiaries, Malam Lawan Bulama expressed his gratitude to Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for empowering them with materials that according to him will change their life Insha Allah.”
In his brief Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni advised the beneficiaries not to sell instead they have to make judicious use of the materials to boost their economy respecty.”
