Falgore Felicitates Christians, Says Kano and Nigeria Need Peaceful Co-existence and Tolerance
The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm Christmas felicitations to Christians and all Nigerians on the occasion of the festive season.
In a statement released by the Speaker’s Spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Thursday, Falgore urged unity, tolerance, and peaceful co-existence as the world celebrates Christmas.
He further encouraged the Christian faithful to live in harmony with one another in love, sacrifice, and tolerance, describing Christmas as a season of compassion and togetherness. He stressed that peaceful co-existence remains key to nation-building and societal development.
Highlighting progress at the State Assembly, Falgore noted that Honourable Members remain resilient in providing quality legislation aimed at improving the living standards of the people of Kano. He pointed to clear signs of more robust legislation under the 10th Assembly.
“I am convinced that the Kano State House of Assembly under my watch is doing everything possible to deliver quality legislation, irrespective of tribe or religion, for sustainable growth, job creation, and shared prosperity,” Falgore stated.
He reiterated the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to supporting the state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, whose administration has been dedicated to providing a conducive atmosphere for all citizens, irrespective of religion, tribe, or status.
On behalf of the entire Kano State House of Assembly, Falgore wished Christians a joyful celebration and prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity for Kano State and Nigeria.
