Fika Couple Welcomes Quadruplets, Seeks Urgent Support
From Sani Gazas Chinade, Damaturu
In a rare and joyous event, Ba’aba Habu, a resident of the Zirki Zanzana area in Fika town, headquarters of Fika Local Government Area, Yobe State, and his wife, Hajja Amina, welcomed quadruplets early this morning at the General Hospital, Fika.
The quadruplets—two boys and two girls—were delivered safely and will be referred to the Specialist Hospital, Potiskum, for specialized care. There, the infants will be placed in incubators for proper medical attention.
The parents, Ba’aba Habu and Hajja Amina, are reported to be of modest means, prompting calls for support from the Yobe State Government and well-meaning individuals.
The arrival of quadruplets presents significant challenges for the family, particularly in terms of medical expenses, nutrition, and other essential needs.
Financial and material assistance will be crucial to ensure the well-being of the newborns and their parents during this critical period.
