Fire Ravages Home of Minister of State for FCT
On Sunday afternoon, a fire engulfed the private residence of Mariya Mahmoud, the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The property at No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro, was completely destroyed, with no reported salvage.
Firefighters were allegedly slow to respond, and as of now, no official statement has been released by the Minister’s media aide, Mr. Austine Elemue.
However, Elemue confirmed the incident and mentioned that investigations into the cause of the fire outbreak are ongoing.
