First Lady Flags off Distribution of 60,000 Exercise Books to Jigawa Pupils

As part of effort to support basic education, the first lady Mrs Remi Bola Ahmed Tinubu flag-off the distribution of 60,000 exercise books to school pupils in Jigawa.
Speaking at the flagg-off, Mrs Remi Tinubu who was represented by the wife of Jigawa state governor Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi said, the distribution of exercise books is part of Renewed Hope Initiative basic education support programme across the five Emirates in the state.
She explained that, the 60,000 exercise books is mainly for public schools pupils who are at primary and junior secondary schools level.
According to her, the present administration under the leadership of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed towards improving quality education and ensuring education for all children in the country.
Hajiya Hadiza who stressed the importance of education, said no parents will choose his children to grow up ignorant no matter how poor he is.
“I want assured you that, I will do all my best within my capacity to ensure children particularly from vulnerable class acquire at least basic education for the betterment of their lives and future of the state in general”, Namadi said.
She then called on Jigawa to continue their support to the present administration in the state as according to her more dividend of Democracy is coming from president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
