FRSC to introduce aviation-like safety and cautionary tips to drivers in Adamawa – Sector Commander

Adamawa state newly posted sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Yahaya Sabo Adikwu has expressed commitment in upgrading driving habits among motorists.
Commander Adikwu dropped the hint at a courtesy call on the correspondents’ chapel Yola Thursday stressing that the new techniques his command wants to introduce to motorists especially commercial drivers would be the method used by pilots on the plane air borne.
Adikwu explained that the safety and cautionary tips would make the passengers in the vehicle to experience a passionate bond with their pilot driver for being deligent to his responsibility.
Adikwu who was a lecturer at the Road safety transport institute Udi in Enugu state stated that value reorientation would be his administration’s guiding principles promising to change driving narratives for the good of all .
He announced that his command will be holding a grand stakeholders meeting on Saturday and would be charting a new course of action in safety environment.
He lamented that most car clashes are cause by human factors noting that global records have shown that 1.3 million people died as a result of car accident in the globe.
Commander Adikwu therefore appeal for support and cooperation with a view to realizing the desired outcome of ensuring accidents are reduce minimally on our roads.
Responding the chairman of the Correspondents’ chapel, Padio Phineas congratulated the commander for his new promotion and posting to head the Adamawa command.
Phineas told the commander to count on the chapel for publicity of the activities of his command at any time of need.
