Fuel Subsidy: Forum Lauds Gov Namadi’s Efforts to Reduce Hardship

The Jigawa Civil Society Forum (JCSF), commended governor Malam Umar Namadi and Federal Government for making efforts to reduce hardship caused by removal of fuel subsidy.

The commendation was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the forum Comrade Muhammd Musbahu Basirka and made it available to news men in Dutse.

The forum which is dedicated in promoting good governance and efficient service delivery, expressed concern over the economic challenges and heigh cost of living following the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

Equally, the Forum wishes to acknowledge the commendable efforts so far made by both the federal and state governments in the alleviation of the hardship burdens faced by it’s good citizens.

“In particular, the Forum commends various efforts and thoughtful strategies of the Jigawa State executive council under the able leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi FCA, for its proactive measures in supporting the good people of the State”, Comrade said.

According to the statement, government’s distribution of food items without bias, substantial monetary assistance to vulnerable groups and women, and the introduction of a Ramadan feeding program are laudable initiatives aimed at mitigating the difficulties faced by the populace.

“As voice of the voiceless, the Civil Society Forum praises Governor Malam Umar Namadi FCA for his visionary leadership and compassionate approach in this hardship time.

The Ramadan feeding program, tailored to support vulnerable groups is well recognized as very significant and impactful endeavor that will uplift the spirit of the vulnerables and others in need”, Basirka said.

The statement, therefore urges the public to continue supporting these laudable efforts of true leadership being demonstrated by Governor Malam Umar Namadi FCA’s led administration, emphasizing the value of hard work and perseverance in overcoming any faced challenges since inception. With steadfast prayers and collaborative efforts, the desired economic growth of our dear State is achievable in due time.

The Forum then asserts its commitment to monitoring the distribution of palliatives and overseeing the Ramadan feeding program across the 287 political Wards. We remain dedicated to supporting government initiatives that directly benefit the citizens of Jigawa state.
