Ganduje: APC, Tinubu to Remain in Power Until 2031, Presidency to Shift North
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje has said that the party and President Tinubu will be in power till 2031 after which power will rotate to the North.
Ganduje spoke on Tuesday when two pro-Tinubu support groups paid him a courtesy visit at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
The Tinubu Young Generation Forum and the Tinubu Young Northern Forum were at the National headquarters of the party to show their support to the administration of the president and also to appreciate Ganduje for the way he has handled the affairs of the ruling party.
Ganduje said the APC is a party that believes in zoning because it ensure that equity and fairness is meted to all parts of the country.
He further stated that President Tinubu is a leader who has continued to treat all parts of the country fairly whether they are in the North or in the South.
“This is very, very encouraging. And also, you know, our president is for the north, our president is for the south, our president is for the six geopolitical zones.
“And we are happy that our party believes in zoning. When a leader from the northern part of this country was in office for 8 years, we advocated that the next president in our party should come from the south.
“And luckily enough, we worked very hard with the cooperation of Nigerians. Our president has come from the south and is going, inshallah, for second term, 2027. And then after that, it will be returned to the northern part of this country”.
The APC boss eulogized the Northern Youth Forum for believing in the zoning formula of the party saying it is a clear demonstration that they are real patriots and democrats.
“So this northern youth forum, I believe we are on the right course and we encourage you to continue working on that. We will study your documents and we shall see areas of cooperation.
Ganduje equally said he is convinced that the reforms being introduced by the government of President Tinubu are all geared towards pulling the country out of economic and social problems.

The former governor of Kano state said Tinubu is on the right path, adding that in a very short while the benefits of the reforms will be felt by the people.
“Our president is doing very well. He is a reformer, he is a visionary leader, he is focused and we are happy with his reforms because his reforms are absolutely necessary for the social economic development of this country.
“There is no doubt so many things went wrong over a long period of time and it would require, there is no doubt it requires surgery before we can get it right.
“But we are happy that We have started seeing the outcome of the reforms, especially in the economic side and we believe this will continue to yield positive results so that the legacy and the renewed hope agenda will be achieved”.
The National Chairman assured his guests that the party will continue to identify with them given their steadfastness in working for the growth of the party.
“There is no doubt this is a support group organization of which during the electioneering campaign we have thousands of support groups.

“But now we have only a few who are consistent, who have increased their tempo despite what they did for us during the election.
“Now they have developed new blueprints in order to sustain the activities of the group, especially you being a younger generation, you are dealing with young people, men and women.
So we are highly impressed with your activities and we believe that is what it should be”.
Ganduje added that his leadership is up and doing to make the APC grow into an institution, that is responsible for registration of membership, for recruiting people for elected offices, recruiting people for appointed offices, and at the same time to assist the government in power so that we can achieve their manifesto.
Earlier in their remarks, leaders of the two groups, Olusegun Dada of the Tinubu Support Group and Auwal Ibrahim of the Northern Youth Forum said they were satisfied with the administration of President Tinubu as well as how Ganduje has been piloting the affairs of the party.
They promised to even work harder for the success of the ruling party in the 2027 election.
