Gombe NUJ Endorsed Alhassan Yaya As NUJ President

Gombe state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ has endorsed the current Deputy President Alhassan Yaya as the right candidate to contest on the forth coming NUJ Election.

The council Chairman Comrade Saidu Bappa Malala and it’s members made the endorsement at the council congress meeting in Gombe on the preparation of the state Council election come July 7.

Comrade Saidu Malala,NUJ Chairman Gombe said that Alhhasan Yaya, is the best candidate for the position considering his vast experience ..

He said he unionist to the core because he served the union in various capacities from the state chairman to Deputy National President.

“We in Gombe would present the vote of confidence on him to contest knowing that he would not failed the union when he emerged as President.

During the meeting Chima Azuibuke of the Punch newspaper testify that Alhassan Yaya is a man of integrity, saying that he has no bias nor sentiment in what his doing.

Chima, said when he was posted to Gombe newly on 2019 nobody knew him Alhassan has assisted him more. ” I benefited a lot from Alhassan Yaya of been selected to participate in so many workshops, seminar among others.
