Gov Abba condoles Leadership Newspaper Correspondent, Abdullahi Yakubu

Kano State Deputy Governor as well as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has on behalf of the State Governor, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf extended his condolences to the family of late Abdullahi Yakubu.

Yakubu, a Correspondent of Leadership Newspaper in Kano state, passed away, unexpectedly on Friday, aged 55, after a brief illness.

This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu on Friday.

According to Ibrahim, the Governor while expressing his sympathies, acknowledged the significant loss that late Abdullahi’s demise represents.

He prayed for the strength and resilience of the family members, wishing them solace during this difficult time.

The late veteran journalist burial rites have since been conducted in accordance with Islamic rites and he is survived by wife and children who will cherish his memory and carry forward his legacies.
