The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has received the Governor of the Year Award 2025 by the SilverBird Group on Sunday at Eko Hotels and Suits Victoria Island.
The Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has distinguished himself in good governance, transforming the state to a better place through laudable projects and implementation of policies that touch the lives of people.
This was contained in a Press Release by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Kano State since inception of this administration has been turning to a better place through transformations in education, health sector, infrastructural development, agricultural development to mention but a few.
These huge successes attract a lot of organizations from within and outside the country keep awarding the governor for his wonderful achievements.
At the event, the governor was described as someone who turns the tides in Kano for greatness, and launching of Kano First Agenda adds volumes to the development of the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who was unavoidably absent was represented by the Special Adviser on State Matters, Alhaji Bala Usman, and received the award on His Excellency’s behalf.
He thanked the SilverBird Group and congratulated all the awardees and urges them to take it as a challenge to do more.
It is indeed a historic day that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is being awarded Governor of the Year 2025.
