Gov. Bago appoints new heads of Niger agencies, parastatals

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has made appointments to the board of some agencies and parastatals in the state.

This was contained in a statement by Bago’s Special Adviser on Digital Media and Strategy, Abdullberqy Ebbo, on Friday.

According to the statement, 92 persons were appointed into the agencies.

Some of the agencies include the Universal Basic Education, Niger State Environmental Protection Agency, Pilgrims Welfare Board, Judicial Service Commission, Investment Promotion Agency and Asset Management Agency.

Others are the Sustainable Development Goals, Judicial Service Commission, State Assembly Commission, Traffic Management Agency, Civil Service Commission, and the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.

Some of the newly appointed heads of these agencies include Universal Basic Education, Baba Ibrahim, Chairman, Environmental Protection Agency, Abubakar Muhammad, Director General, State Judicial Service Commission, Halima Ibrahim, Chief Judge and Chairman and Pilgrim Welfare Board, Sheikh Abubakar Raji, Chairman.

Others are Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Abubakar Jibron Chairman, Civil Service Commission, Abdulrahman Enagi Chairman, State Assembly Commission, Mohammed Kutiriko Chairman, State Traffic Management Agency, Usman Salihu DG zone A, Awwal Datijjo DG zone B and Murtala Umar DG zone C. Investment Promotion Agency Amina Sanusi Executive Secretary, Asset Management Agency, Mohammed Abdulkadir Director General and Sustainable Development Goals Abubakar Musa Director General.
