Gov. Buni Mourns Yobe State University Student, Amina Yakubu

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has expressed deep shock over the tragic death of Amina Yakubu, a student of Yobe State University, who lost her life in a fatal traffic accident.
In a statement issued by the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Buni extended his condolences to the parents, friends, and relatives of the late Amina, describing her passing as a painful loss.
“My heartfelt condolences also go to the Vice Chancellor, staff, students, and the entire university community over the loss of this young and promising student,” the Governor said.
“As believers, we accept that life and death are in the hands of our Creator, Allah the Almighty,” he added while consoling the bereaved family.
Governor Buni prayed for the repose of her soul in Aljannah Firdaus and for Allah to grant her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident and directed that they be given free medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the Governor urged motorists and other road users to exercise caution, especially during the rainy season, to prevent avoidable accidents.
