From Tongnaan Dada Bawa, Jos

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has expressed his commitment to transforming Plateau into a state known for religious harmony, with the aim of fostering peace and unity within Nigeria.

Governor Mutfwang stated this during a courtesy visit by the leadership of New Life for All, led by the President, Rev. Panya Baba, at Government House in Little Rayfield, Jos.

He said his administration has taken deliberate measures to ensure inclusivity of all faiths and ethnic groups within the government, with the goal of building a united and prosperous Plateau.

Governor Mutfwang also recalled the security challenges that plagued the state before his formal inauguration on May 29, and highlighted the purposeful efforts his administration has made to restore the state’s lost glory.

Acknowledging the Church’s significant role in nation building, especially in areas like health and education, he praised New Life for All for their contribution to uniting the Christian community.

President of New Life for All, Rev. Stephen Panya Baba extended condolences to Governor Mutfwang for the unfortunate attacks on the people of Mangu and other parts of the state.

He commended the Governor for addressing the security situation and offered prayers for divine intervention.

Rev. Panya, who also serves as the President of ECWA, assured the Governor of New Life for All’s continued support for the government and the people.
