Gov. Yusuf approves new management structure for KIRS

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has approved the appointment of Dr. Zaid Abubakar as the new Executive Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Services (KIRS).

This was contained in a Tuesday statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Director General, Media and Publicity Government House, Kano.

According to the statement, the Governor also approved the appointment of Kassim Ibrahim as the Executive Director of the Revenue Board.

“The new management structure will take effect immediately while the former Chairman of Kano State Internal Revenue Services Alh. Sani Abdulkadir Dambo is reassigned to serve as Special Adviser on Investment to the Governor,” the statement read in part.
