Gov. Yusuf Attends Funeral of Former President, Muhammad Buhari

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has joined Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governors, Ministers for burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Mustapha, Governor Abba Kabir, prayed for the deceased for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness and consoled the family to bear the irreparable loss.

Thousands of people including the high profile personalities from the Federal to States levels across the country attended the funeral.

In a statement issued by Mustapha Muhammad the Chief Press Secretary to Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Tuesday described the deceased as patriotic and compassionate leader.

“Former President Buhari’s death is shocking and sad. He was a towering figure whose life embodied discipline, integrity, and unwavering love for Nigeria. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, government and people of Katsina state and indeed all Nigerians mourning the loss” Abba Yusuf, Governor of Kano State has said.

Apart from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, several current Ministers at the Islamic rite, some former Ministers of Late President Muhammadu Buhari were present, including his allies in politics: former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El Rufai among others.
