Governor Abba Appoints New Permanent Secretaries

The executive governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment and deployment of 38 permanent secretaries in the state civil service.

While signing the letters of appointments and issuing to each, the Head of Civil Service, Abdullahi Musa urged them to take their new task seriously.

Among the new permanent secretaries are: Aminu Shuaibu Rabo from reinstatement to Government House; Abdul Saad Zakirai from Director Protocol Directorate to Protocol Directorate Government House; Usman Bashir MaiKano from DAGS, ministry of works and Housing to Deputy Governor’s office.

Others are; Umar Muhammad Jalo from reinstatement to Establishment Directorate; Kubra Ahmad Bichi from Director Planning, DGO to Pension Fund Trustees; Dan’Asabe Yahaya from Director Special Duties, Deputy Governor’s office to SERVICOM; Ibrahim Boyi from Director Training Ministry of Finance to Salary and Wages.

The rest are Ibrahim Muhammad Kabara from Director Planning, Ministry of of Special Duties to ministry for local government; Abubakar Sadiq Mahmud from DAGS – CSC to Civil Service Commission; Engr. Garba Adamu from Director Engineering/ Social Infrastructure, Policy Strategy , Implementation and evaluation Directorate to Ministry of Public Procurement, Project Monitoring and evaluation.

Muhammad Yusuf Dabduwa from reinstatement to ministry of commerce, investment and industries; Mahmud Bello Bari from reinstatement to ministry of environment and climate change; Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu from Sit in Director , Ministry of Transportation to Ministry of water resources; Muttaka Iliyasu from DAGS Ministry for local government to ministry for higher education.

Sani Shehu Minjibir from DAGS Private and Voluntary Institution Board to ministry of youth and sport; Sadi Ibrahim from Director Special Assignment KNAP to ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources; Binta Lawal Aliyu from DAGS Government House to ministry of rural and community development.

Lastly are; Adamu Bala from DAGS ministry of public procurement, project Monitoring and evaluation to ministry of transportation; Garba Saidu Gwarzo from DAGS Intergovernmental affairs to ministry of tourism and culture; Sabiu Shuaibu Muhd from DAGS cabinet office to ministry for special Duties.

Abdullahi Musa implored both to work hard, fear of Allah and for the betterment of the service.

He said the appointment and deployment is about giving civil service a new facelift.
