Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari on his appointment as Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a thoughtful and strategic decision, noting that Masari’s wealth of political experience and commitment to party development make him well suited for the role.
The Governor observed that Hon. Masari, a seasoned politician from Katsina State, has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, integrity, and competence in the management of party affairs in Nigeria.
He added that Masari’s political acumen, extensive network, foresight, and proactive engagement with political stakeholders across the six geopolitical zones have played a significant role in strengthening party structures, mobilizing grassroots support, and promoting inclusive political participation.
Governor Mutfwang further highlighted the remarkable progress recorded in party organization across the North-West region, describing Masari’s appointment as well deserved, particularly in view of his impactful service as the National Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He commended Hon. Masari’s visionary leadership, resilience, and unwavering dedication to grassroots political development, noting that his values of integrity, inclusiveness, and excellence have earned him respect across the political landscape. According to the Governor, the appointment signals renewed hope for strengthened political engagement and more inclusive governance at the national level.
On behalf of the Government and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang congratulated Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari on this important national assignment and prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and grace to guide him as he discharges the responsibilities of his new office.
The statement however said until his appointment, Masari was a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs.
