Governor Namadi Announces Passing of His Mother

With deep sorrow and submission to the will of Allah, His Excellency, Mallam Umar Namadi, Governor of Jigawa State, has announced the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar. She passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

The announcement was conveyed in a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Muhammad Gumel, and shared with the press.

According to the statement, the burial rites will be held today at 4:30 PM in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in line with Islamic traditions.

Governor Namadi and his family humbly request prayers for the repose of her soul. May Allah, in His infinite mercy, grant her eternal rest in Jannah and provide solace to the family during this trying time.
