Governor Namadi Appoints 2 Head of Agencies

Governor Malam Umar A Namadi has approved the appointment of the Executive Chairman and Permanent Members of the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

Those appointed are:

1. Professor Haruna Musa
Executive Chairman

2. Muhammad Nuhu Babura
Permanent Member I

3. Kani Idris Gantsa
Permanent Member II

4. Bala Safiyanu Jahun
Permanent Member III

5. Bello Ballama Birniwa
Board Secretary

Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Haruna Mairiga as the new Executive Secretary, Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

The statement said the appointment of the appointees is based on merit, competency and personal integrity.

Malam Bala Ibrahim urged all the appointees to work diligently for sound execution of the present administration’s policies and programmes.

The statement explained that all the appointments take immediate effect.
